The year was 1947, and Ashling Kitchen and Bar had just reopened its doors as a glamorous speakeasy-inspired supper club in Hollywood. It was the place to be for rising stars, veteran screen icons, and shadowy industry moguls. On this particular night, the bar glimmered with golden light and pulsed with the laughter of the rich and famous. The occasion? A private wrap party for the noir film The Crimson Curtain—a film rumored to be cursed.

The cast and crew gathered under the bar’s opulent chandeliers, toasting their success with glasses of champagne. Among them was Veronica Vale, the film’s leading lady, known for her beauty, sharp wit, and a string of scandals that kept the tabloids busy. She glided through the crowd, draped in silk and diamonds, her laugh as sharp as a dagger. But Veronica had secrets, and so did everyone else.

As the clock struck midnight, the mood shifted. A sudden power outage plunged the bar into darkness, silencing the partygoers. When the lights flickered back on, Veronica Vale was slumped over the piano, her lifeless body draped dramatically over the keys. A glass of champagne rested in her hand, and an eerie crimson stain spread across the back of her ivory dress.

The room erupted in chaos. Among the screams and whispers, a single, chilling realization took hold: someone in the room was the killer.

As guests waited for the police to arrive, the lights dimmed again, and a haunting melody filled the room. The piano, untouched, seemed to play itself. Whispers of Veronica’s ghost swept through the crowd. Guests swore they saw her reflection in the bar’s gilded mirrors, her lips moving as if to warn them.

The investigation revealed a series of cryptic clues scattered around the bar: a lipstick-stained napkin in the dressing room, a torn page from the script with the words “You’ll pay for this!” scrawled in red ink, and a half-burned photograph of Veronica with someone’s face scratched out.

Tensions ran high as secrets unraveled, alliances fractured, and the true curse of The Crimson Curtainwas revealed. Could the guests solve the mystery before the killer struck again—or would Ashling Kitchen and Bar become the final act of The Crimson Curtain?
