2026 – Bluebell Railway Murder Mystery Ticket Application Form 2026

How the Evening Unfolds
You are invited to arrive at Sheffield Park Railway Station (Nr Uckfield) between
18.30 and 19.00.

You will be greeted by one of our staff and then invited to the Bessemer Arms ( A pub on the station at Sheffield Park) where you may settle for a pre-murder drink! (Drinks NOT included in the price)

At approx 19.30 you are invited upstairs to our function room where you will witness a 20 minute production with one of the characters being murdered at the end!  Although you don’t always witness the actual murder as it sometimes happens off stage!

At 20.00 You are invited to board the train where you will enjoy a three course meal and coffee (All included in the ticket price) whilst steaming through the Sussex Countryside in a 1920s Pullman Carriage on the “Golden Arrow” steam Train. (Also all included in the price)

The train shuttles up and down the track as you enjoy your meal and engage in cross-examining the surviving suspects.

You then complete an answer form and the train returns to Sheffield Park at approx 11.00 pm

You are then invited back up to the Function Room/Theatre where you will find out who did it, whether you cracked the case and the winners are presented with a certificate and a bottle of bubbly to share.

The evening ends at 23.30/23.40 and we recommend you book taxis if you have not brought your own car.

The events begin promptly at 7.20pm and finish at approximately 11.40 pm.

The cost for the Three-course silver service meal, Steam train journey & Professional entertainment for 2025 is: £160.00 per person

• The Golden Arrow now operates with a set of three First Class 1920’s Pullman Carriages

Small Print

1. Tickets are non-refundable.
2. The organisers reserve the right to make any changes to the programme without prior notice.
3. Video cameras and recording equipment must not be used during the production at the Station. Feel free, however, to take as many still photos on the train as you wish.
4. If you have requested a particular carriage, or been pre-informed of the carriage in which you are located, we reserve the right to move your party to another carriage for logistical, or other reasons beyond our control.
5. Unless the two table supplement is paid a booking of two people does not guarantee a table of two.
6. Lastly we hope you have an enjoyable evening and do not forget to fortify those little grey cells!
