Welcome to the quiet Cornish Village of Morlington Hill. We’re back in the 1940s this evening, and you have been selected to help us find the killer on one of our Murder Mystery nights… See below for the full details—do you have what it takes?
Your Murder Mystery Experience!
Tunbridge Wells West is where you must arrive to start your crime-solving journey, where, out of the cover of the trains, the evening will begin….
AHHHHHH! There has been a murder!
Listen out for the all-important briefing; we need you to help solve the mystery of “whodunit”!
The time has come for you to board the train, board our heritage carriages and get comfortable. You’re in this for the next couple of hours, and without you, we might never find the killer. Heading out of Tunbridge Wells, you will be served a freshly prepared supper and make your way through the High Weald.
We have a briefing at the station; then, we transfer to our train, where the story becomes more interesting as the night draws in. On our way out of Tunbridge Wells West, enjoy a Fish and Chip supper as you travel through the High Weald countryside down the line…
Suddenly, we stop at a remote country station and follow the detective onto the platform to discover more about this terrible crime… Once they have updated you, hop back on board, get comfortable, and begin your investigation.
Throughout the remainder of the evening, the detective and their sidekicks will wander the train, making occasional station stops to provide more important clues and hopefully lead you to find the killer.
The evening ends back at Tunbridge Wells West in our shed, when all will become clear. Will you work out “whodunit?” You may even win a prize!
These evenings are great fun in groups, so why not invite your friends, family and loved ones to experience a Murder Mystery on the train! Every performance of the Morlington Mysteries is different, so there is no harm in repeating it.
These shows are performed by a regular group of professional actors, including Abi Harris, Radley Mason and Max Day.

What’s included in the ticket price?
- A Murder Mystery experience lasting around three hours, including train journeys.
- An interactive Murer Mystery experience where you get involved, look for clues and work out “whodunit”!
- Your departure time and station are shown on your eTicket. You will return to your starting station.
- A fish & chip supper (or other option) served at your table.
- A complimentary drink.
- The opportunity to stretch your legs to see the locomotive that has pulled your train at either end of the line.
- Table service, which lets you order drinks from your seat.
