Circus-themed costumes encouraged\, so come dressed to kill! \nUpon booking\, guests can choose to be cast in a role and receive their costume pieces\, props and scripts upon arrival at the Trolley Cottage. There is no acting. You are only reading lines in a script for speaking parts or wearing a prop for non-speaking parts. In order for the show to work we highly encourage guests to participate— it’s easy and fun! DESCRIPTION:Overview\n\n\n\nStep back to the roaring ’20s for a night of jazz\, gin\, and a sneaky speakeasy whodunit at Fazool’s! \n\n\n\n\nStep Back to the Roaring 1920s!\nJoin us at Fazool’s for an unforgettable Speakeasy Mystery night. Dress sharp\, think sharp\, and dive into an evening full of secrets\, jazz vibes\, and hidden clues. This is an in-person event where you’ll mingle\, solve puzzles\, and soak up that authentic 1920’s atmosphere. Ready to channel your inner detective and have a blast? Don’t miss out on the fun! \nTicket includes 3 course meal and interactive show.\nAlcohol is available for purchase separately. Please note… 21+ with ID only will be served. \nWHAT TO DO … \nWork together or individually to solve the case by interrogating the suspects\, analyzing physical evidence (as it comes out)\, and observing the characters. All of our mysteries are family friendly 😃 \nThe mystery lasts roughly 90-120 minutes from start – finish. \nWHAT TO EXPECT… \nCharcuterie will be available upon your arrival at 5:30pm. Please note alcoholic beverages are available for purchase – they are NOT included in your ticket price. During this time you’ll also meet some of the characters you’ll encounter in the mystery as a pre-show mingle. The scripted show will begin at 7:00pm. Soon after a dead body will appear and you’ll meet your DETECTIVE who will explain the rules of the game and guidelines for the evening. After this briefing – DINNER WILL BE SERVED and your investigation will begin in earnest! \nPlease note the mystery happens in two distinct ways throughout the evening… \n\nSCRIPTED DIALOGUE – Where the story unfolds through interrogation of the suspects by Detective Gunn (your detective and host for the evening). During this part we kindly ask that you respect the people around you trying to hear the story and keep any conversation to a whisper. Any side conversations during these parts (especially from multiple tables) can overwhelm guests who are hard of hearing or trying to listen. This is also a time when important CLUES are discovered and talking during it may cause you to lose important information.\nIMPROVISED INTERROGATION This is a break from the scripted dialogue (when Detective Gunn leaves the playing area to find more evidence). During this time guests are encouraged to get up – look at the evidence on the evidence table\, interrogate the actors themselves (this is the improvised part as the actors have no idea what you might ask them)\, use the facilities\, get a drink at the bar (we’re funnier when you drink 😉 or… take this time to talk to your companions and relax and take everything in. There are several of these small 3-5 minute opportunities throughout the evening – so if you don’t get a chance to talk to your favorite suspect during the first break – don’t worry – you’ll have plenty of opportunities throughout the evening. We ask that you do not touch the actors during your interrogation – if you wish to see some evidence you think they may be carrying or anything about their clothing or appearance you think might be a clue – you can ask them to show it to you and they’ll be more than happy to help you solve the crime! 🔍\n\nAt the end of the investigation Detective Gunn will give you a final 10 minutes you fill out your SOLUTION SHEET (where you’ve been gathering your notes throughout the evening) and turn it in for a chance to win one of three prizes for BEST DETECTIVE. \nMost importantly – enjoy your evening!
